We find that most people buy insurance because they know they need it, but usually they don’t really understand what they’re paying for. Through our Personalized Financial Program, we make it a point to make sure our clients know what all their needs really are, and what they’re buying and why.
A good way to view our method of doing business is to look at our circle of professionals. Most people have one lawyer, accountant, doctor and banker….right? Well, we specialize in an area where each household is likely to spend more money than all these others combined. We want to apply for the job of our prospective clients’ insurance professionals and offer them the convenience of working with one agent. Maybe most importantly, we’ll be there when there’s a loss, so we want to be sure that the proper, adequate coverages are in place.
We don’t try to sell insurance on a volume basis. Our strategy is to develop a long-term relationship with all our clients that will last for years.
Agency owner Robin Starr has been in the insurance business since 1984. He enjoys getting to know his clients and helps them with their personal, flood, farm, and commercial insurance needs.
Robin and his wife have been married for 48 years. Together they have two sons and five grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and working on his classic car.

Agent Lindsey J. Clough has been a part of the A1 Term Insurance Agency team since 2009. Specializing in personal lines, Lindsey is proud to provide answers for her clients. She understands that during a confusing time such as a tornado or even a minor car accident, insurance agents are often able to offer a perspective that friends and family cannot. She enjoys keeping her clients informed, and especially likes being able to call a client to let them know that A1 Term Insurance Agency could save them money!
